Just Megs...

So my show opened last night and it went off with out a hitch. Romeo and Juliet, Opera, originally translated from French now sung in English. It was done in traditional Italian Renaissance. I had to take a few liberties with my clothes because there was over 60 people in this show.

I am very proud of my self and I feel that I am finally doing what I love. My clothing was seen by over 1200 people last night on stage at the Gallo Center for the arts.

I love my job. I love being a costumer. <3 ok I’m done.

4. your terrible at your job. you really are the worst manager ever. you can do paper work like a champ but when it comes to relationships with the only other 10 people in the store YOU SUCK!

so here is my idea i had today. i have a fascination with zombies and i want to do something with it.

i want to get a group of people together and turn them in to heavily made-up fully decked out, flesh eating, brain guzzling… ZOMBIES!! i want a few of my lovely photographer friends and maybe even some of my brilliant film maker friends to all gather with me and we make something out of this epic day.

i dont know the specifics of this yet but i figure i have time to plan this and make this happen.

maybe meet at the park for snack of brains? walk/drag-a-body-part around down town? maybe all my zombies decend upon an unsuspecting person?

i would also have a few people who decided to be the lucky victims of my flesh eating friend and they get to be lunch.

shoot a few scenes… maybe of my walking dead actually walking around together or chowing down on some humans. i dont know what were capable of when were all together so i do not want to limit myself to anything.

i have so many creative friends and i know people love blood and guts so why not combine the two.

we could make a whole day of it and maybe a meal will be included (a free one too!!)and hopefully you will get something out of it too(other than the meal)!

great photos for your portfolio, some awesome footage for an upcoming film idea, some sweet shots of you made up at the undead, or even just a day of being really creepy.

i think this might be my new project in the new year. ZOMBIE DAY 2011.
